My parents were market gardeners and I had been passionate about wine for many years. It was the reading of “Les ignorants” a graphic novel by Etienne Davodeau that triggered in my mind the plan of leaving my position as purchasing project manager to take over a wine estate.
I decided to maintain the practices of the previous owner with technical and ecological developments to obtain wines which are as authentic as possible.
The estate has been HVE certified since June 2022.
The estate is located in the Pays de Retz in the Côtes de Grand Lieu appellation, close to the largest lowland lake in France and the sea. Our 14 hectares of vines, on sandy soil made of gneiss, surround our winery, a former post house from the 17th century.
The situation allows our visitors to see for themselves our methods of driving the estate and our different grape varieties.
